Founded in 2025 and based in Chichester, West Sussex, Studio Sturt is a boutique residential interior design studio creating warm, characterful and personal spaces. My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that beautiful, functional homes are essential to positive wellbeing and that well-designed homes can shape how we live, feel and interact with our loved ones.

I design rooms and homes reflecting each client’s unique style and personality whilst honouring the location and period of a property. Each room is designed around a desired feeling and your personal needs to create homes that look fantastic whilst being practical for contemporary living.

Studio Sturt provide residential design services across West Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. I help busy homeowners transform their homes, removing the uncertainty and overwhelm that can often surface when undertaking a home project. Giving you back your time and energy, my personalised approach provides clarity, direction and investment confidence.

I’m Rosy - the director and interior designer at Studio Sturt.

Moving from a career in education, I retrained in interior design and worked for an accredited designer before opening my own studio.

With over a decade in education and teaching, I bring creativity, empathy and strong communication skills to my work as a designer. I have the ability to understand individual needs and have developed expertise in planning, problem-solving and managing complex projects. This, combined with my interior design training and experience, helps me create thoughtful, functional and beautifully tailored interiors.

I am a Provisional Associate member of the British Institute of Interior Design, recognised as a practising interior designer working in accordance with BIID professional standards.

My biggest inspiration is the natural world and I am never far away from exploring the countryside or coastline with my husband and our trusty spaniel.

I bring a friendly, organised, creative and honest approach to each project.
